About the Journal

Civil Engineering and Sustainable Cities (CESCI) is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access journal focusing on advancing knowledge, research innovation, and technological development in the field of civil engineering, sustainable infrastructure, and smart urban systems. The journal aims to provide a multidisciplinary platform for academics, researchers, engineers, urban planners, policymakers, and industry professionals to disseminate high-impact research that contributes to the design and transformation of resilient, environmentally responsible, and intelligent cities.

CESCI publishes scholarly articles including original research papers, reviews, case studies, and technical notes that address current and emerging challenges in sustainable urban development such as green construction materials, structural and transportation systems, water and environmental engineering, disaster resilience, renewable energy integration, digital engineering solutions, and smart city technologies.

Through rigorous peer review, ethical publication standards, and open-access dissemination, CESCI supports the global commitment toward achieving sustainable development goals and fostering innovation for future-ready cities that harmonize engineering excellence and ecological sustainability.

The journal is published three times a year—in February, June, and October—and is managed by the academic community under the Center for Sustainable Infrastructure and Urban Engineering in collaboration with Waroo Publishing. All submitted manuscripts undergo a double-blind peer-review process conducted by both internal and external reviewers to ensure academic rigor and publication quality.

We accept articles in English or Indonesia. For more information, please read the Journal Description and sidebar menu.
